EMF Protection

EMF Protection needed for lap top

EMF stands for electromagnetic field. While there are many other names used to describe this home radiation problem, the acronym EMF is the most common. EMF protection in homes is a necessity these days because EMF radiation affects our body’s electrical nervous systems and damages flesh on a cellular level.

EMF waves penetrate our bodies in the same way microwaves in a microwave oven cook food. In fact, deliberate transmission of high-frequency radiation waves has been used as military weapons. Exposure to EMF causes a wide variety of what are called EMF symptoms and EMF exposure is now recognized worldwide as a health concern for humans and pets.

I have another article that discusses fluorescent light sensitivity caused by EMF radiation which you can find HERE if you are interested in learning more about this topic.

EMF Symptoms

The varieties of EMF symptoms caused by EMF waves are rarely understood by medical doctors and are frequently misdiagnosed and mistreated.

Physical Symptoms

Physical symptoms can include chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, tooth pain (most noticeably at metal fillings), ringing in the ears, unclear vision, leukemia, and inexplicable cancers. EMF in homes is also believed to be a strong contributor factor to brain tumors and childhood cancer.

Dermal Symptoms

Dermal symptoms can include hair loss, tingling sensations on skin, flushing, and rashes, and premature aging.

Neurological Symptoms

Neurological symptoms can include twitching of eyelids, muscle spasms, tremors, heart palpitations, arrhythmias, seizures, and asthmatic reactions. Basically anything related to your nervous system. Effects of EMF radiation on the brain can lead to insomnia, depression, stress, headaches, learning disabilities, memory loss, ADD, ADHD, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Sources of EMF waves

Most everything we use in our homes today is either electronic or controlled by electronics. The transformation of electricity to operate electronics causes us to be exposed to EMF waves that bombard us from all directions. Appliances, televisions, computers, tablets, cell phones, and chargers (transformers), all contribute to our EMF exposure levels in our homes.

Fluorescent light health problems are also associated with EMF exposure, particularly in office settings. Fluorescent light headaches and migraines are perhaps the most recognizable symptoms.

While individual appliances and devices can emit EMF radiation, it is by far the electrical wiring that runs through your walls, ceilings and under floors that is the biggest offender. You are surrounded by electrical wiring virtually everywhere you go inside your home. Your wiring essentially acts like an EMF transmitting antenna.

EMF Protection from electrical meters

My clients and their children were sleeping just on the other side of these electric meters that emit powerful EMF waves.

EMF Protection needed for home wiring

You can measure EMF waves directly off of the wiring inside your home by plugging a specially designed EMF meter into your outlets. You can also measure EMF radiation in the air by using a different style of EMF meter.

EMF Protection

The bottom line is that we are heavily exposed in virtually every indoor environment. Therefore, I can tell you upfront that you are far better off simply implementing EMF protection strategies than spending your money on EMF meters and wasting your time repeating experiments that have already been done for you.

The total amount of EMF radiation that is affecting your body is based on the number of sources you have in your home. If you are serious about your health, you’ll unquestionably want to learn the different ways you’re exposed to EMF, and the various EMF protection steps you can take.

To help people understand the sources and solutions, I wrote the book How to Reduce EMF Radiation Exposure. The book is only $7.99 and in it, I’ll show you actual inspection photographs with clear explanations to help you understand the depth of the problem and the practical solutions you can take to reduce your exposure.
